Are you a MyHeritage customer looking for additional health and fitness insights? Then we have some excellent news for you. Due to the fact that MyHeritage and FitnessGenes process samples using the same genome sequencing panel (Illumina® Global Screening Array), MyHeritage customers can upload their existing DNA data to FitnessGenes for instant access to all reports and recommendations, and for a fraction of the cost of a full DNA analysis test.

Here is our step-by-step guide to exporting your DNA data file from MyHeritage and uploading it to your FitnessGenes member account:

Downloading your DNA data file from MyHeritage

1.Log in to your MyHeritage account using your username and password.

2. Click on the "DNA" tab at the top of the screen and select "Manage DNA Kits" from the drop-down menu.

3. Locate the kit you wish to export and click on the three dots on the right side of the kit's row.

4. Select "Download" from the menu that appears.

5. On the "Download DNA Data" page, select the box next to "I understand the potential risks and wish to continue".

6. Click on "Download".

7. You will be prompted to enter your MyHeritage password for security purposes.

8. After entering your password, click on "Continue".

9. MyHeritage will begin to generate your DNA data file. Once the file is ready, you will receive an email with a link to download the file.

10. Click on the link in the email and sign in to your MyHeritage account if prompted.

11. On the "Download DNA Data" page, click on "Download" to save the file to your computer.

Uploading your DNA data file to FitnessGenes

1. Login to your FitnessGenes account at https://my.fitnessgenes.com

2. Select ‘Upload Data’ from the top menu

3. Enter the 12-digit voucher code that you received when purchasing your DNA upload from https://www.fitnessgenes.com/products. 

4. Select ‘MyHeritage’ from the dropdown list of providers

5. Use the ‘Browse’ button to locate and upload your DNA data file 

6. Once the file has completed uploading, you will have full access to all 140+ genetic reports, each delivered with personalised insights and actions.
