Green Bean and Sesame Salad

Ingredients (Serves 2)

Salad

  • 1/2 cup (125g) Frozen peas
  • 1 cup (125g) Green beans
  • 2 Tbsp (30g) Pumpkin seeds

Dressing

  • 4 Tbsp (60ml) Canola Oil
  • 2 Tbsp (30ml) Rice vinegar
  • 1 Tbsp (15ml) soy sauce
  • 1 cloves garlic (diced)
  • 2 inches (5 cm) Fresh ginger (diced)
  • 1 Tbsp (15ml) Honey
  • 2 Tbsp (30ml) Sesame Seeds

Instructions

  1. Bring a pot of water to boil on medium heat. Add the frozen peas and green beans and boil for 4-6 minutes.
  2. Separately combine all the dressing ingredients and mix well.
  3. Drain the vegetables and place into a serving bowl.
  4. Finally pour over the dressing and sprinkle the pumpkin seeds for that added crunch.
  5. Serve Warm
