Cheesy quinoa bites

Gluten free, high in protein, nutritionally balanced, rich in essential minerals, these tasty and easy to prepare snacks are great pre-or post workout or as a side dish to your main meal.

4 servings


  • 1 cup (185g) cooked quinoa
  • ¼ cup (25g) grated cheddar
  • 1 cup (130g) chopped carrots
  • Dash of salt
  • 1 medium egg, whisked


  1. Preheat the oven to 350°F and line a muffin tray with 8 cases (or brush with oil)
  2. Mix all ingredients in a large bowl
  3. Spoon into muffin cups
  4. Bake for 20 minutes, until golden
