Baked miso tofu skewers

These baked miso tofu skewers are a protein-rich, low-calorie snack


1 tbsp yellow miso paste (15g)

2 tbsp soy sauce (30g)

2 tbsp rice vinegar (30g)

1 tsp garlic granules (5g)

1.5 cup firm tofu (200g)

1/4 red onion (30g)

4-5 wooden skewers 


  1. Preheat oven to 350° 
  2. Cut tofu into cubes 
  3. Mix miso, soy, vinegar and garlic granules in a large bowl 
  4. Mix the tofu cubes into bowl and stir until fully coated
  5. Cut the onion into eighths and separate layers 
  6. Place one cube of tofu onto skewer and then one onion slice
  7. Alternate until skewer is full 
  8. Place onto baking sheet lined with parchment paper 
  9. Bake for 30 minutes
