Professor of Bioinformatics and Director of the Centre for Computational Biology at the University of Birmingham. Jean-Baptiste’s interests lie across the broad spectrum of computational biology, from cancer genomics, population genetics, swarming to metabolomics. He had huge success in the identification of genes associated with several disorders using linkage studies while at deCode Genetics as well as genome-wide association studies and whole genome sequencing while at the Wellcome Trust Centre for Human Genetics and the department of Oncology in Oxford.
